Daily Duties at Northrop Grumman:

Assist the supervisor in day to day operation and duty assignments of employeea on my crew. I was in charge of successfully installing wiring modifications in the cockpit section of the EA6B aircraft and performing continuity and power checks making sure of no defect before moving to the phase of production. I kept track of hours logged on the project to make sure we stayed within budget. I was also responsible for on the job training for less experience employees on my crew. Other duties were to maintain, perform scheduled maintenance and to install modifications to aircraft electrical systems and associated electronic components and equipments using drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics to return electrical systems and components to maximum efficiency. I soldered wiring to componenets, switches, relays and circuit boards.

What they like about Northrop Grumman:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
