Performed acute stroke chart audits to enhance documentation and improve patient outcomes. Collaborated with Nursing Director to develop and implent projects to improve quality of service. Provided assistance to physicians, nurses and appropriate departments in establishing and executing hospital wide protocols and policies. Educated patients on appropriate utilization of the Emergency Department. Performed daily follow-up to address patients' needs and assist them in making appropriate healthcare choices. Served as a liason between patient and Emergency Room physician to facilitate communication for any medical explanation. Supported and participated in departmental projects to improve patient care and education.
