Daily Duties at St Francis Hospital:
I worked day 12 hour shifts 3-4 days a week as needed.I functioned as Charge Nurse for the ER.I worked in the Psychiatric Emergency Room and was Charge RN there.I dispensed medications as ordered.I learned to put all my Med/Surg learning into the critically ill patients of the ER.I worked with major traumas;resuscitations were achieved and patients were sent to the OR at this hospital or transferred out to higher levels of treatment (Westchester County Medical Center).I learned a great deal because I had a fantstic preceptor.
