• Leads and develops all efforts within the business unit to expand core business and penetrate new markets • Responsible for identifying, creating, qualifying and capturing new business within assigned customer community, as well as sustaining existing business, to achieve long term growth of bookings, profit and other strategic goals • Implements and manages company database with over 200 hundred existing customers and prospects with focus on customer service and sales • Partners with customers, proposal teams and leadership teams in winning new business • Schedules and attends key customer meetings and trade shows with various company representatives and key decision makers • Analyzes wins and losses for lessons learned and implementing process improvements to increase effective use of marketing dollars • Implements new business reviews and strategic planning within the business unit • The Director represents the company by communicating the value of the company’s innovative solutions, services, products, programs, technologies and strategy to customers • Responsible for long-term positioning and capture execution for opportunities in new market and new product applications
