Daily Duties at Di Maria & Cone:
Personal assistant to owner/attorney. Handle day to day calendar and schedule. Work on daily client case load. Prepare necessary legal documents and letters. Proof read letters and documents when needed. File documents with local courts or schedule courier service. Communicate with client's via e-mail and telephone. Communicate with courts when necessary on cases. Online research for cases when necessary. Research local court rules for cases as needed. Work with vendors regarding their products and meeting our needs. Keep track of office supplies and place orders when necessary. Input into QuickBooks payments received from client's, post to appropriate accounts and deposit at bank. Input into QuickBooks accounts payable and schedule due date to vendors. Transfer billable time to QuickBooks each month to generate bills for client's. Generate payroll for employee's twice a month and payroll taxes once a month. Run Profit & Loss report for owner monthly. Delegate duties to part-time assistant.
