• Audit accounting functions to meet GAAP • Responsible for the monthly financial statement with reconciliation of the balance and analysis of the income statement • Monthly financial statement and analysis based on a division of 7 sub groups being reported to 5 consulting partners • Record revenue for multiple parts of the business along with record revenue from Missouri. • Complete the business paperwork for starting to do business in the state of Missouri. • Reconcile and analyze the general ledger • Responsible for the quarterly financial statement to all the financing and flooring companies. • Responsible for the year end financial statement along with analysis of the balance sheet to provided to the CPA for Tax purposes. Additional responsibility is to provide 6 month and 9 month financial statement to the CPA for tax planning. • Complete sales tax returns for California and Missouri along with making monthly deposits. Reconciled the State sales reports to the general ledger (sales and sales tax payable account). • On a monthly basis reconciled inventory against the daily sales and COGS reports. Analyzed the inventory to ensure the amount was accurate along with creating a excel pivot table of the inventory amount to analyze the cost of the product was correct. This process lead to finding a problem in the SAP system dealing with Manufacture rebates in Inventory, created a internal fix for the problem so the cost of the inventory was correct. • Controlled Cash Flow along with seeking different financing and working with existing financing companies • Created a Cash Flow reserve for normal fluctuation within cash to reduce interest on financing • Prepare daily sales reports to reconcile COGS and sales in the monitoring of monthly revenue • Prepare and record any necessary journal entries • Prepare Depreciation Schedule and Asset Schedule • Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Sales Tax reports • Complete 571 L Business property statement for three counties. • Prepare Yearly Business Licenses, Workmen’s Comp Audit Report, 1099’s, and any other yearly reporting except the Corporation Tax Return • Payroll / Computing of Sales personnel monthly commission • Proficient in SAP
