Daily Duties at American International Group :
Oversaw a $25,000,000 book of business, encompassing four western territories over a 23 state region. Provided GL, Auto and WC for entities with less than $75,000,000 in revenues, including Oil Refineries, Oil Drilling, Water/Sewer/Natural Gas Authorities, Electric Companies and Cooperatives and their sub-contractors. Cross selling of Excess, Property and Environmental Liability coverages. Directly responsible for handling a $13,000,000 book of business, a roll over of a Rural Electric Utility Program dissolved by a competitor, for our division’s largest broker. Extensive interaction with Legal Department for forms approval required in specific states to mirror enhancements provided by the dissolved program. Managed a team consisting of two additional underwriters, two underwriting technicians and three raters, while overseeing the Operations Department to ensure timely policy and endorsement issuance.
