Daily Duties at Globetel Communications Corp:
• Responsible for preparation of consolidated statements for SEC Quarterly and year-end reporting. Included preparation of 10Q and 10K and extensive interaction with external auditors. • Reported directly to Chairman of Audit Committee for 10Q and 10K purposes. This included detailed review and explanation of all financial aspect of SEC reports (10Q and 10K) before filings. • Accurately forecast major sources of cost, revenue and risks. • Responsible for preparation and monitoring of operational budgets including direct interactions with division presidents and accountants • Managed Company’s Employee Stock Option program including review of individual contracts and calculations; this included calculating intrinsic value for financial reporting purposes in accordance with APB 25. • Implemented Platinum accounting system; improved closing from 10 to 5 days.
