Directing Latin American Controllers and local Miami accountants with responsibility for Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Financial Reporting and SOX compliance; which includes but are not limited to: • Approval of shipments to foreign subsidiaries • Managed closing process for the region, including deadlines and review and approval of financial statements. • Approved Inventory adjustments from Product Managers • Supervised and reviewed physical inventory counts. Maintaining and developing internal control procedures. • Negotiations with suppliers resulting 10% cost savings • Project leader in establishment of Shared Services for Latin America.
