ELTF Claims Manager (Senior Consultant) – Management of ELTF claims processing department as a third party administrator on behalf of the IDEM • ELTF ombudsman • Member of the committee tasked with revising the Indiana Administrative Code (IAC) 328, which governs the ELTF • Managed staff of up to eight consultants responsible for assessing cost recovery claims against the ELTF • Performed final quality control review of approximately $300 Million of ELTF cost recovery claims • Developed and implemented claim process enhancements reducing turnaround times from 90 days to 30 days • Enhancements eliminated backlog of claims and increased staff productivity Leaking Underground Storage Tank site Project Manager (Consultant) • Reviewed technical documents (ISC, FSI, CAPR, CAP, etc.) as a third party administrator for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management’s (IDEM) ELTF • Made LUST site technical recommendations to the IDEM based on the documents reviewed • Liaison between the LUST site project managers and the cost recovery claim reviewers, ensuring cost effective and accurate reimbursement • Developed a Site History template to allow efficient transfer of pertinent data from project managers to claim handlers, increasing productivity and accuracy of claim reviews • Invoice review for reasonableness and necessity
