Daily Duties at Grand Rapids Community College:
Developed over 20 new, customized organization development workshops for Business and Technical Training department of GRCC. Served as learning and development consultant for over 40 West Michigan companies specializing in: • building new teams and improving teamwork, • interpersonal communication/developing relationships –1-to-1, small & large group, • analytical problem solving/continuous improvement techniques (Ford’s 8 D) • development of leaders with an emphasis on front-line supervisors, • effective management of conflict and negotiation skills, • and human resources topics including interviewing/selection, performance reviews, coaching/counseling, progressive discipline, legal terminations, diversity, preventing and reporting sexual harassment and avoiding discrimination. • Development of learning interventions included needs assessment, design of pilot program testing, and on-going measuring of effectiveness.
