Daily Duties at Spectrum Center Schools And Programs:
For the last six years I have been the Program Director of the Spectrum Center Schools San Jose campus. Spectrum is a non public school serving students with developmental delays and emotional disturbances. I opened the San Jose campus in March 2006 with three students and three staff members. Currently the campus has fifty four students and thirty six staff members.Duties included, but were not limited to the following: Student recruitment, school district collaboration and business marketing, daily supervision of all students, teachers and staff members. Payroll, budget development, assessments, observations, student intake, IEP preparation, attending student IEP meetings, community involvement (San Jose Police Department, SELPA, CAPSES, Autism Speaks)
