• Primary Science Advisor/Project Manager on a 10 member team supporting a 900 attorney law firm. Managed assignments between attorneys and science staff, with close attention to cost accountability. • Worked on litigation and transaction teams performing science- and patent-related due diligence for M&A transactions, licensing agreements and litigation cases including drug patent infringement, white collar crime and product liability. • Due diligence experience for M&A transactions included Teva’s acquisition of Barr Pharmaceuticals ($7.5 billion), IVAX Corporation ($7.4 billion), Sicor ($3.4 billion) and licensing arrangements with Endo Pharmaceutical. • Supported attorney and client teams on strategic business decisions and initiatives: shoe designs for New Balance, food and beverage products for Pepsi Cola, equity positions for hedge funds, software programs, and product liabilities. • Worked closely with attorneys to write ANDA applications for filing with FDA and prosecute patents before the USPTO. • Frequently accompanied partners on client pitch meetings which resulted in securing multi-year assignments from: Pepsi, Quaker Oats, Tropicana, Gatorade, New Balance shoes and Smith & Nephew medical device. • Identified and recruited expert pharmaceutical, medical, and scientific witnesses to testify in trials.
