Responsible for managing litigated claims. Investigate, evaluate and negotiate to settlement or through trial. Attended and represented the self insured for small claims court actions, mediations, settlement conferences arbitrations and trial monitoring. Duties also included working closely with store managers with specific claims as well as conducting training sessions for risk management. Worked closely with Security to recognize and investigate fraud.
