Daily Duties at Empire Valuation Consultants:
• Developed and employed comprehensive financial models to perform in-depth financial statement analysis for valuation for public/private companies, business transactions, financial reporting, corporate planning and tax strategies. Synthesized data from databases, business publications, financial statements, SEC filings, non-public information, K-1 schedules, and annual reports to value companies. • Experience with valuation and modeling methods includes: Excess Earnings, Discounted Future Income (DCF & DFE), Capitalization of Income, Guideline Company/Transaction, and Adjusted Net Asset Value (NAV & ABV). • Completed over 60 financial valuations of equity, debt, option/warrants, restricted stock, related securities of publicly and privately held businesses, start-up companies, and carried interests of hedge funds and alternative investment firms. • Researched multiple industries, analyzed economic/industry macro trends, and wrote economic/industry outlook reports. • Attended industry conferences for continued education and business development.
