Daily Duties at Pepperdine University:

Responsible for managing internal investigations, mediation, managing AB1825 sexual harassment prevention training, developing diversity reports, advising managers and chief administrators on grievance processes, monitoring federal and state legal compliance in relation to current University policies and procedures. Titles: HIPAA Compliance Officer, ADA Compliance Officer, Chair of University Diversity Council, and Chair of the University’s WASC Committee on Diversity. Diversity: ß Reduced University liability, cultural sensitivity errors, and common procedural or policy mistakes through executing diversity workshops for managers, deans, faculty committees, and staff. ß Addressed key Western Association School’s and Colleges (WASC) concerns within a recent accreditation visit through providing campus climate and diversity assessment reports and presentations to top administration. ß Served as the University Diversity Officer, WASC Committee Chair for Diversity, Chair of the University Diversity Council to ensure the University is improving current recruitment, retention, education, and access.
