Produced new and renewal business through a broad knowledge base of commercial insurance, effectively placed businesses based on third-party contractual & state regulatory requirements Assisted agents in understanding policy options to effectively achieve risk management Offered specialized insurance products by analyzing accounts identifying potential loss exposures, reviewing loss prevention methods Coordinated with other underwriters in the office to gain different perspectives on a particular risk when necessary Qualified accounts with available markets and either directly underwriting accounts or brokering risks whose characteristics are outside of contract binding authority Followed up on monthly finance cancellation requests, assuring the highest policy retention Marketed effectively through various channels including agency visits, trade shows, and cold calling, thus broadening a reliable agency base Independently created an agency base of 60 agencies, serviced and managed over 800 accounts
