Sr. Quality Engineer - Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne (Formally Boeing Rocketdyne), Canoga Park, Calif. January, 1998 - Present Initiate as a project engineer to build division’s first in-house product FAI (First Article Inspection) data. Provided Quality Engineering supports to Delta IV rocket’s RS68/RS68A/RS68B Liquid-fuel rocket engine developments and manufacturing. Responsibilities included supporting CAB(Corrective Action Board)/TRR (Test Readiness Review)/FRR (Flight Readiness Review), monitoring of component conformity, interfacing with teams for better understanding of customer requirements, and implementation of quality requirements. Assist suppliers in meeting requirements and delivery schedules. Followed up on nonconformance dispositions and corrective action. Facilitated RS-68 teams for variation reduction, statistical process control. led implementing Pratt & Whitney AQR-01 and Boeing BQMS. Managed and monitored component alert (GIDEP) to minimize program impact. Worked in IPT (Integrated Process Team) environment to help developments of RS84 expendable rocket engine system for NASA's NGLT (Next Generation Launch Technologies) program. Helped adopt quality concepts in powder metallurgy technique. Assisted engine's turbopump designs by integrating lessons learned from other successful rocket engine programs. Helped identifying potential risks in the material processes and supplier management during the engine development. Ensure customer's requirements were implemented and met.
