Daily Duties at Stamps.Com:

• Led the team responsible for integrating an enterprise shipping solution (Iship) with the Stamps.com Mailing solution by designing a unified back-end server and database architecture • Minimized costs and met deadlines by channeling communication between Marketing, Customer Support, Development, and QA to ensure that all business, technical, and user needs were met • Wrote functional requirements and led development and testing of e-commerce and security initiatives, including the customer account management tool which used Litronic NetSign software and SmartCards to maintain secure access to the Stamps.com servers • Ensured that Stamps.com passed all USPS reviews by incorporating USPS requirements into functional specifications. USPS approval was mandatory for product release • Increased effective in business requirements gathering by creating standardized processes and templates. This streamlined development and reduced production waste • Acted as an advocate for internal departments to make certain that internal tools were designed to contain costs and improve customer service • Part of the inter-departmental team that designed the Siebel Quality Management (bug tracking) logic and business processes for the R & D group, increasing bug tracking accuracy while minimizing duplicates • Used SQL Server and Enterprise Manager to examine data and verify that functional specifications took the database structure into account when creating new features, enhancing the effectiveness of the development process
