Clinical Therapist / Discharge Planner Large teaching hospital 50 bed unit, serving the mentally ill and medically compromised. Multidisciplinary` team environment. Active in developing validation therapy program for dementia and neurologically impaired patients. Complex assessment across DSM guidelines and treatmentplanning. Utilization review and insurance referral to ensure patient reimbursement. Mobilizing care by rapport building to maintain resources and expedite discharge of medically needy patients. Group and 1:1 therapy for high and low functioning patients. Cultural competence across European populations. Individual and group supervision of concentration year interns.
