Daily Duties at Healthbridge Children's Hospital:
This is a children’s hospital where we worked solely with children with different kinds of Respiratory problems. From just giving breathing treatments, to children that were trached and on ventilators. The ventilators used there were the portable ventilators. We had children in oxygen tents, with oxy-hoods and nasal cannulas, needing breathing treatments, MDI’s and CPT. We also did a lot of training there with the parents, who were going home with a trached or ventilator dependent baby.
