Daily Duties at Ubm Canon:
• Responsible for maintaining the web presence of industry-leading plastics titles Injection Molding Magazine and Modern Plastics Worldwide via the PlasticsToday.com website and related magazine websites. • Responsible for all phases of editing and producing daily industry e-newsletter with a 40,000-reader circulation, as well as two weekly and two monthly enewsletters, collaborating with stakeholders from advertising and production to ensure reader, advertiser, and organizational satisfaction. • Test and track performance of digital products, suggest and implement improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders across UBM Canon to improve relevancy and value of content for readers, maximize advertiser value, and improve performance and utility of the PlasticsToday.com web portal. • Travel with sales team members to meet with advertisers and readers, explain and demonstrate efficacy of products, solicit feedback and suggestions, establish new relationships and reinforce existing ones. • Attend conferences and trade shows to represent the brands, gather industry information, establish new relationships and reinforce existing ones. Moderate webinars. • Contribute original editorial content for both digital and print products. • Produce special K show newsletters, manage K show microsite, and maintain live, real-time web presence for the PlasticsToday brand from the show in Germany.
