Daily Duties at Volunteers Of America Southeast:
Supervised 3 mental retardation youth group homes, with a staff of 25-30 people, and nine children that resided in the homes. Prepared and maintained annual Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monthly progress reports with specific behavioral plans for each child residing in the homes. Represented and mediated for children in group homes, acted as a liaison interacting with local and state agencies such as DHR, the school system, employment opportunities, etc. on their behalf.
