Daily Duties at Mas Home Care Of Maine:
Supervise a staff of 25 people. Conducts patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission into the system. Assess needs and goals of children diagnosed with Autism, Down Syndrome, MR, Asperger. Write treatment plans in compliance with DHHS and the state of Maine regulations. Reassess every 90 days to evaluate if the children have accomplished some of their goals. Perform family visits on a regular basis for follow up. Perform in house training and supervised staffs on the field. Conduct interviews. Audit charts, progress notes, incident reports. Rewrite treatment plans on an ongoing basis. Cultivate professional relationship with case managers and their respective agencies, speech therapists, occupational therapists, schools, families, clients, staffs and the Children Behavioral Health Service (CBHS) for the State of Maine. Attend IEP. Give recommendations to the families. Provide crisis intervention when necessary. MANDT, CPR and first aid certified. Provide train staff to families in need. Responds to Emergency in a calmly manner. Coordinates transmission of clinical and benefit treatment to patients, families and outside agencies.Identifying gaps or barriers in treatment plans Providing patient education to assist with self management Interacting with Medical Directors on challenging cases Coordinating care for members
