Daily Duties at Cp Manufacturing/ Ims Group:
I was responsible for working with engineering and operations to purchase the materials needed for product implementation and manufacturing. I generated purchase orders, negotiated prices, performed follow up on outstanding orders. I also authorized payment of orders and checked all purchases. I added new parts numbers, vendors and decriptions to the MRP system as needed. I regularly reviewed inventory needs and order materials as needed. I also reviewed engineering drawing and bill of materials list to anticipate manufacturing needs.
