• Responsible for all production/distribution activities associated with corporate headquarter facility producing mattress pads, bed pillows and compressed, heat-bonded fiber • Managed a direct-report staff of 10 supervisors including production, distribution, maintenance, and human resources; employee count of all depts. fluctuated (50 – 120) • Responsible for monthly P & L evaluation and corresponding continuous improvement • Oversaw the start-up of a $5 million thermal-bonding production line • Managed the quick start-up of a bed pillow production line new to the facility • Coordinated the transition from a one-shift operation to a three-shift, 24/5 operation • Responsible for plant-wide bi-annual inventory audit to reconcile actual with perpetual inventory • Generated annual capital budget with engineering department
