Daily Duties at Us Army, U.S. Army 1st Bn, 5th Field Artillery, 1st Infantry Division:

Primary Maintenance Staff Officer for a Direct Support Field Artillery Battalion composed of 50 tracked and 250 heavy wheeled vehicles. Responsible for all direct support and general support maintenance actions including parts acquisition and inventory management. Prioritized maintenance workload and scheduled services. Developed readiness and deadline reports for submission to Senior Army management. Ensured Facility and personnel health and safety policies were followed and compliant with OSHA and EPA laws. Coordinate and direct all equipment disposition activities for receipt and turn-in of Government property. Manage an annual maintenance budget of $350K. Directed activities of one maintenance tech, one senior maintenance supervisor and 32 specialty mechanics
