Daily Duties at Lincoln Multicultural Middle School:
Assisted the Principal with the establishment and implementation of the school's Academic Plan. Assumed full responsibility for the establishment and implementation of the English as a Second Language (ESL) program. Created the Language Acquisition Basic Skills Program. The program was designed to facilitate the transition of Non-English speaking students into the ESL Program. Assumed reponsibility for establishing and maintaining a highly conducive school climate and learning environment. Conducted Teacher Observations to promote and insure the use of Best instructional Practices in all classrooms. Monitored the effective implementation and delivery of the Safety and Security Team. Established strategies for the implementation of interdisciplinary instructional practice among faculty Teams. Monitored the effective delivery of the advisor advisee program. Facilitated and monitored the by weekly interdiscipinary Faculty Team meetings. Assisted the Principal in the supervision of the custodial staff and building maintenance. Assisted in maintaining discipline throughout the student body and handled special cases as necessary. Served with parent, faculty, and student groups as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives. Supervised and processed acquisition and delivery of supplementary materials for instructional use. Assisted with coordination of all instructional programs.
