Camp Lend A Hand Work Values

Daily Duties at Camp Lend A Hand :

Supervised 5-9 year old girls with responsibility for organizing and panning the day’s events for 30 children in accordance with the Girl Scouts of the United States Handbook, supervising a staff of 6 counselors, and mediating conflicts between the campers and between the staff. Took on additional duties as a lifeguard for the summer of 1999 and 2000. Taught outdoor skills to such as fire building, outdoor cooking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, crafts, and self esteem.
