Daily Duties at Office Depot:
The District Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for the management of Business Relationship Managers with existing sales volume of $50 million within the Philadelphia business to business market . The DSM has an overall responsibility to the profitability of their distribution center, and the success in this respect is rewarded equally with that of the performance of their sales team. The DSM must be able to manage all of the attributes of the sales associates who report to them (acquiring new customers, retention and growth of existing customers). Accountable for reporting the sum of total volume quotas for reporting sales associates, which includes Technology, Furniture, Paper, Print and Document and Managed Print Sales. The DSM is responsible for setting quotas for their direct reports and achievement of those goals for sales and gross margin. Responsible for hiring and training new sales associates within geographic responsibility.
