Daily Duties at Southern Petroleum Labs:
Performed organic and inorganic compound analyses on wastewater, industrial waste and soil samples using GC, HPLC TOH and Spectrophotometry techniques. Selected, interpreted and modified procedures taken from professional literature like SW 846 Federal Register. Prepared lab data reports. Interpreted chromatographic data and prepared batch summaries. Completed Quality Control check, completed Quality Control sheets and made logbook entries as required by protocol and/or SOP. Trouble shoot instrument problems, performed minor repairs and notified management of any instrument issues that required external repair.
