Daily Duties at 89th Communications Group:
Performed network administration of over 75 Windows servers including system backups, Power Shell and batch scripting, custom installations, application configuration, TCP, IP and DNS, Mail server installation, configuration, an diagnostics with POP, IMAP, and SMTP. Installed Microsoft patches and pushed to desktop and mobile clients, tested and pushed Windows server patches, maintained McAfee Antivirus server, built and racked servers to corporate specifications, planned backup and migration of data for decommissioned applications. Also provided information protection and security awareness training to all Andrews AFB network information systems users, and certification and accreditation assistance to base certifying officials for information system life cycle management. Managed the Telecommunications Monitoring and Assessment Program (TMAP)
