Daily Duties at Nu Vasive, Inc.:
• Hands-on with planning and implementation of full conversion from Quick Books to Great Plains including monitoring two upgrades and liaison to all departments and software consultants • Strong knowledge of Great Plains – especially A/P, A/R, and G/L modules, Journal Entries, FRx, Report Writer and Crystal reports, modifying Great Plains reports, arrange set-up screens and hands-on experience inputting of data, and tax parameters • Hands-on manager of payables, receivables, and assets • Conducted month-end and year-end closings with journal entries and account reconciliations • Initiate, prepare, and implement policies and procedures for finance department • Prepare and file sales and use and corporate tax returns for ten nexus states– liaison for audits • Prepare commission statements/reports for 11 direct sales and 33 independent sales force • Instrumental in planning and conducting change of company’s fiscal year • Coordinated with customer service, marketing, operations, and sales departments
