Daily Duties at Central Parking Corporation:
Regional Vice President, Chicago, IL, 2009 to 2010. Restructured Chicago Region generating $60M in revenues and $5M in EBITDA. Directed reorganized Midwest operating cities, two major airports & over 900 managers & staff. Added 29 profitable new locations producing more than $1M of new EBITDA. Reduced G&A costs by more than 15% as part of a standardization project and personnel elimination. Senior Vice President-Chicago, IL, 2000 to 2009. Integrated merger of 26 cities in Midwest, Great Lakes, & Canada. Renegotiated numerous “loser” contracts through restructure producing more than $1M of EBITDA improvement. Acquired Calgary & divested various small cities successfully leading to EBITDA enhancement of more than $500K. Held P&L responsibility for $200M revenues encompassing approximately 1000 locations & 3000 employees. Managing Director-London, ENG, 1996 to 2000. Initiated successful European operations. Grew organization from 80 locations in 1996 to 400+ in 2000, increasing EBITDA from $1M to over $5M in 2000. Built European corporate office manned with a GM in each of 7 countries & a corporate office staffed with MD, CFO, COO, CIO, HR, and Senior Leadership. Regional Vice President-Atlanta, 1990-1996. Leader for all business management in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina & East Tennessee. 90 locations and 25 managers. Took business from zero EBITDA to $3M EBITDA, 6 of 7 cities produced 30% margin improvement in 1994. Regional Manager-St. Louis, 1989-1990. Established new region including St. Louis, MO, Columbus, OH, Cincinnati, OH, Cleveland, OH, Indianapolis, IN. Promoted & became the company’s youngest Regional Manager at 29 years old. Earlier from 1982-1989. Promoted to positions of increasing responsibility with Central Parking Corporation (Area Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager in Denver and St. Louis).
