Daily Duties at Tmnk Individual Artist:
TMNK: Modern Urbanisms opened February 8, 2010, in a pop-up space at 351 Bowery. For this exhibition I worked with New York based street artist TMNK to curate his first major New York solo show. The exhibition consisted of over fifty artworks and, in addition to honing my curatorial skills, this opportunity also broadened my experience working with and obtaining exhibition sponsorship and support, preparing checklists and writing exhibition text. I was additionally responsible for managing the installation of the show and coordinating the two opening reception events (including liasing with press, coordinating vendors, staff, entertainment and security logistics).
