Daily Duties at Waynesville School District:

Dispatching and coordinating the flow of communications between personnel assuring proper and timely transportation of students. Dispatch drivers according to student transportation needs. Communicate transportation requests and workflow information. Assist drivers with directions, scheduling, and equipment issues as well as updating routes and student information using mapping software. Dispatch emergency equipment to a breakdown or accident locations. Maintaining records related to fuel usage and mileage as well as fueling and performing routine servicing of vehicles and equipment to assure proper operating condition. Receiving customer calls included assessing, resolving, or escalate to appropriate personnel.
