Daily Duties at Baylor Health Care System / Cornerstone Staffing Solutions:
The Teleservices Representative at BHCS will be responsible for operating multiple position telephone console to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls. Also required to sort and distribute mail and monitor all alarms and notify proper personnel according to policies and procedures. Responds to internal and external calls from patients, visitors, employees, physicians, clinicians, and other stakeholders. • Solicits information from callers so as to refer call to correct party or department. • Refers to patient locator listing for information to complete call. • Answers basic questions from callers according to organizational policy. • Directs callers in ascertaining the patient's condition. • May assists users in placing toll calls. Prepares charge ticket for call, if necessary. Operates the page console and communicates information to physicians, clinicians and other stakeholders. •Refers to on-call schedule for information to complete call. • Handles emergency calls according to procedures.
