Daily Duties at Wall Street Associates:
Determine business needs, devise IT solutions, and formulate strategies. Manage IT budget of 300 million JPY. Direct network monitoring, analysis, and performance evaluation. Guide expeditious resolution of identified degradation trends and problem areas. Contribute to planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to supporting infrastructure company-wide. Design and implement network security at corporate level. Identify network and telecommunications improvements and recommend changes to Board of Directors. Facilitate introduction of new products and process to market. Technical Leadership, Product Development/Management, IT Strategy • Commanded superior leadership in support of product development and process/quality improvements for new market introductions. Guided .NET/MSSQL development, VPN integration and VOIP programming/support, and ERP/CRM system selection and implementation. • Optimized achievement of organizational goals in areas of systems architecture/design, software development and infrastructure management working with business units to devise highly-effective IT strategies/solutions. • Elevated technical and business performance by identifying/utilizing leading edge technologies and prioritizing development initiatives to fulfill user requirements, increase profitability and enhance market position. • Drove development of key IT products through all phases of project development, including requirements analysis, specifications development, application design, implementation, design review and system testing.
