I was responsible for • reviewing financial statements to identify areas of high audit risks before commencing an audit, • assigning audit staff to audit tasks in line with audit plan to meet reporting deadline; • Carrying out peer review for further review by partner; • preparing feasibility reports for establishing Community Banks, Primary Mortgage Institutions, Micro finance banks among others; • reviewing internal control systems for adequacy and redesigning new ones where they are inadequate for client’s needs. • Strategy formulation for continued relevance in the emerging micro finance market for community banks; • Performing other jobs in line with the term of reference of the client. • Working with other professionals from different fields to execute tasks on hand using multidisciplinary approach.
