Daily Duties at United Parcel Service:
Responsible for managing all operations within a 24 hour operation, which included, 7 Full-time Supervisors, 14 Part-time Supervisors, 89 Full-time hourly Drivers, 3 Full-time Mechanics and 60 Part-time hourly hub employees. This 24 hour operation was responsible for processing and delivering 30,000 packages per day, with adherence to a demanding "on-time" network and an expectation of "Zero" service failures. Developed and implemented strategic plans in all operations that were utilized in managing, Safety Compliance, Service Reliability, Quality Improvement, Production, Cost Reduction and Employee Relations. Successfully managed the daily operations through Leadership, Empowerment, Training, and Accountability to processes and methods, as well as, fostered a Recognition program that developed a “Winning Team”.
