Daily Duties at United States Army 101st Airborne Division:

Assisted my Ex-Husband (Former Troop Commander)with a Forward Support Troop with over 112 soldiers and 5 officers. Developed a volunteer team consisted of military spouses(FRG)members. The board consisted of 2 co-leaders, 10 point of contacts (POC's), a secretary and treasury. Also help prepare spouses for an impending combat deployment to OEF, conducted monthly meetings with the board members twice a month to discuss current information and upcoming events. (All necessary information was passed from Company Commander to the FRG Leaders and members). Therefore, monthly call downs were given to the soldiers' families and spouses to update addresses, to provide information on upcoming events and provide moral support. Lastly, conducted meet and greets for the new families within the unit, planned activites and family outings, pot-lucks, award ceremonies for volunteers and FRG members for their constant participation and team work. In some cases, daycare arrangements were made for children, to allow soldiers' and their spouses to have date nights.
