Daily Duties at Crate And Barrel:
One of the Project Leads on the Re-engineering team that determined business requirements and vision for next phase of Cross-channel integration that includes: new patented retail POS terminals; supply chain redesign; and enhanced logistic support for warehouse operations. •Manage the overall full life-cycle development of custom, legacy, and AS/400 interface applications, which included 3 direct reports, up to 20 indirect reports based on project initiatives and scope. Designed and coded custom Tax Compliance system •Designed Office Supply Inventory System for better local management of supplies with interfaces to financial systems; eliminating paperwork flow bottlenecks •Participated in departmental technical team code review and project estimation, product tool evaluation review, and product tool contract negotiations
