Skillfully and effectively managed a wide range of construction projects for a profitable home construction company. Developed new home construction cost estimates and construction budgets, and negotiated scope-of-work and pricing with subcontractors. Scheduled, supervised and inspected the work of all building trades involved in new home construction projects – maintaining strict quality standards. Contributed to the development of the companies purchase order system and database. Directly aided the sales and marketing team in development of new home standards and options. Enforced a successful construction site safety program, and facilitated the implementation of contractor safety programs and contractor compliance with construction site safety rules. Devised and created procedural manuals for the Mold Response and Remediation Program. Consistently monitored construction quality to ensure all company standards were met during the construction process. Scheduled and performed inspections throughout various stages of construction. Performed construction pre-walks of homes prior to completion dates, and a final walk at completion. I consulted home buyers and homeowners on construction related questions, concerns and issues. Worked with Production Team to provide feedback related to ensuring the integrity and quality of homes. Maintained a Warranty Database to track reoccurring warranty issues, which I used to identify issues within the building process, and eliminated reoccurring problems. Consulted Customer Service and Warranty Department on multiple projects and also assisted with construction related issues.
