Daily Duties at Cabrini Medical Center:

Managed the administration and dispensing of medications for a hospital organization. Led budget planning activities, purchasing / storage functions, and program policies and procedures. Tracked and managed regulatory compliance, computer systems, HR activities, clinical services, and performance improvements. Maintained oversight of clinical studies and regulatory compliance for research protocols. Standardized medications available on nursing units for "stat" situations and medical response teams. Promoted to oversee all aspects of medication management with accountability for HR functions, regulatory compliance, clinical services, budgeting, procurement, storage, dispensing, administration and monitoring of medications. Created documents and reports for surveys from regulatory agencies including but not limited to JCAHO, DOH, NYSDOHMH, DEA, and FDA. Developed and improved performance for geriatric, medically frail psychiatry, and oncology / infusion programs. Implemented and maintained several computer systems supporting medications management.
