Oversaw operations supporting medication management for a university hospital with accountability for HR functions, performance improvements, drug management, clinical services, and regulatory compliance. Played key role in relocating an infusion, transfusion, and apheresis center as well as revision of policy and procedures for compounding and delivering chemotherapeutic / anti-neoplastic and other infusion therapies. Prepared reports for surveys from regulatory agencies. Developed and implemented major programs and systems supporting the tracking and monitoring of medications. Minimized impact of drug shortages through therapeutic substitutions, outsourcing, and utilization of premixed syringes. Played key role in relocating and automating main pharmacy.
