Managed personnel and related test procedures to complete required software release testing, and identified the degree of regression effort, to meet strict deadlines. Compiled and led a cross-functional team that developed a method to solve a significant line stoppage problem that was repeatedly encountered while running a test program. Increased customer satisfaction both by excellent communication and organization skills as well as by having significantly reduced equipment downtime at customer sites via correcting system failure conditions. Developed, maintained, and performed software acceptance test procedures on embedded software controls for stationary and HEV power systems, communications-converter product, TCP/IP-dependent application programming interface, and a graphical user interface monitoring/control product to expose and troubleshoot complex problems. Completed test processes and the associated test results report on-time, contributing to the goal of UL certification on the system software per marketing schedules. Designed various test cases, in the form of checklists, to isolate latent defects. Took ownership by facilitating software version releases, and changes to circuit board assemblies, within SAP and EIGNER configuration management systems to meet critical deadlines. Diagnosed and corrected hardware system faults on microturbine power generators to minimize downtime for engineering personnel, customer service representatives, and system test cell operators. Adapted to a dynamic environment working individually or in a team situation. Applied good work ethics and multi-tasking skills well. Participated in PDR, DDR, and QDR phase gate transitions. Worked well in a collaborative manner with software design engineers to solve software deficiencies. I constantly have the exact scenario, in which the software deficiency is repeatable, identified before presenting it for correction analysis. Worked with electro-mechanical systems and real-time embedded complex controls, as well as LabView/C Windows programs. Created software release test reports and users’ manuals. Handled circuit board assemblies/electronic components.
