Managing and maintaing existing government contracts Negotiating new government contracts Periodic review of all contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions Identifying, resolving, and mitigating problems relating to various contracts in a timely manner Managing of submission and approval process of Federal GSA and various state contract updates Negotiating and preparing Teaming Agreements Tracking of sales and commissions for authorized dealers; preparing and submitting monthly commission reports for authorized dealers Determining appropriate price discounts to secure the sale while maintaining proper margins for profitability Attending various trade shows as required Tracking of monthly and quarterly business from the various contracts for reporting of sales and payment of fees as required (GSA IFF and various state contracts) Identification, pursuit, and closure of new business Fostering of exising business relationships Building and maintaing an excellent working relationship with GSA Contracting Officer, Branch Chief, Section Chief, Administrative Contracting Officer, government customers, and authorized dealers Participating in and providing of input for annual strategy and monthly sales meetings Meeting or exceeding sales and revenue goals Responding to Federal GSA RFQs Preparing quotations for direct inquiries received via phone, fax, and email Ensuring of compliant proposals by reviewing and analyzing information in response to solicitations Ensuring compliance to government contract laws and regulations; ensuring compliance to FAR Managing cold and warm calling campaigns Follow-up on all leads and proposals through to closure Overseeing of sales and marketing campaigns for lead generation Training, developing, coaching, and overseeing of Customer Service Representatives Order entry and maintenance (through December 2010) Recording and tracking data via spreadheet for reporting to management team Interacting with shipping, purchasing, engineering, marketing, and production departments (coordination of urgent orders, product availability, special orders, product information, forecasting/projecting of product, manufacturing process/procedures) to ensure customer satisfaction
