Daily Duties at Certain Teed Corporation:
Quality Manager/Safety Coordinator and acting Environmental Coordinator (2007–2010) Oversee 2 direct reports to execute all aspects of Quality Management Systems (QMS), encompassing raw material receiving inspections, new vendor trial and approval, in-process inspections, and customer complaint investigation and resolution. Provide extensive expertise on compliance with OSHA and recommended corrective actions; investigate incidents, manage safety training, and report unsafe acts/near misses/first aid. Chair joint hourly/salaried EHS team; align policies, OSHA regulations, and changing plant needs with new procedures that achieve results. Ensure compliance with environmental permits and monitor operations; develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and any necessary training programs.
