Daily Duties at Inn At The Opera :
I was the Assistant General Manger for a property were no General Manager was present. The General Manager was located on a different office building. I was in charge of Managing all departments head. In charge of overseeing any financial expenses for the property making sure to stay within budget. Manage database hotel system for inventory purpose making sure to achieve daily revenue goals. Schedule fire Department to monitor Fire Alarm on regular basis. I was also responsible that all hotel Permits and license were valid at all times; renewed when need. I was responsible to make all Staff where scheduled for monthly training or as needed to ensure the best service was being provided. Making sure all staff equipment was kept in good working conditions. Was responsible to code all company invoices and process them for payment. Manage Capital expense for major building repairs and renovations. Followed all OSHA Regulations and all Company policies and Fire codes to ensure the safety of all Guests and Employees. Scheduled Renovations for the hotel making sure all guests rooms were kept in the best condition at all times. I had to reply to all guests online comment cards. I schedule weekly executive meetings. Manage time and set priorities to meet deadlines. In charge of making hiring decisions. Kept confidential information and informed HR of any Employee reprimands or Employee issues as needed. Worked in Budget planing together with the Area General Manager.
