Daily Duties at Medical Center East:
* Provided quality care with compassion * Performed frequent assessments * Teaching for pre and post op CV patients * Worked in CVICU as needed * Maintained nursing care plans * Facilitated recovery of patients by administering medications and treatments as ordered. * Skills used included placing IVs and Foley catheters, dressing changes, administering medications, including IV vasopressors, narcotics, antiarrythmics, and sedatives * Other skills used included rhythm interpretation, use of central lines, CVP, temporary pacers, and defibrillators * Used Swan-Ganz lines and ventilators when pulled to CVICU * Maintained current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
